Yellow Fluorite - Greenlaws Mine, Weardale

Magnificent specimen collected early in exploration. Individual crystals are around 40mm on edge. Lustrous and translucent crystals form an attractive intergrown group. When backlit the specimen is intense yellow in colour. This is partly drowned out with electric purple daylight fluorescence.
